"Nor does having magic that affords you mastery over languages. You asked for my answer, and I've given it to you, I cannot be held responsible simply because you dislike the answer. Is this another tantrum coming on?" If he was hoping for anger, he will be sorely disappointed, she is smiling with the knowledge that she is the victor here.
Rhaenyra rises to her feet not long after he crouches down, moving to tuck her book under her arm when her vision goes white and she staggers, dropping the book in the process. Despite needing to cover her eyes to block out the light temporarily, she mutters through gritted teeth.
"Your tantrum will have to wait, you've given me a headache." She stood up too quick, she tells herself, despite the fact that the pain persists.
"You are such a pain in the ass. I wish I could return you." Of course she gets to her feet after he crouches down. Fucking figured. Feeling the pain lance through her as she stagged, he reached for her, wincing himself. He let the book fall, focusing on steadying her.
"Yeah. I can tell. Let's get you some water or something, see if it helps." He stopped, focusing on her for a moment. " Wait. Eyes hurting isn't a regular headache. Come on, take my hand. I'll get you back to bed. We can clothes the blinds and make it as dark as possible. I can get some ice and caffeine from the kitchen."
Far too proud to accept defeat entirely, she smiles through the ache. "If I am to be miserable, so too shall you." When he tries to steady her, she jerks her arm away and holds it up in the universal I’m fine gesture — she just needs a moment to center herself again and she will be on her way.
"A headache is hardly cause for concern. I’ve had difficulty sleeping, nothing more. You expect me to follow your noble lead when just moments before you proclaimed me difficult? I found my way here, I intend to see myself back." She reaches down for the book, pauses, and glances back up at him.
"You know nothing of my room or its location." And she has no intention of telling him where it is. They will be here all day at this rate.
Chris puts his hands up as she shakes him off, like, 'fine, sure, be that way'. " You really are one of the most stubborn people I've ever met. It's unbelievable. Alright, I'll go find some faerie advil and you can find your way home and suffer."
He crossed his hands over his chest, as if he could out stubborn Rhaenyra. "I'm good at finding things. It's not that hard. Besides, your room? It's connected to you. Or at part of you. Easy peasy." Or it was in theory. He hadn't actually tried it. But the theory was sound.
"You are free to vacate the area if I am so insufferable, I wouldn't trust anything from the fae. Whatever this advil may be, I do not want it." Stubborn to a fault, she casts a glance over her shoulder and nearly screeches to a halt at his second half of the statement.
"You must have ill intent, knowing where my room is without my having given you its location. Should you persist in that, you will see just how insufferable I can be." A warning, the only one he is likely to get. "You will not enter my room without my permission. Do you understand?"

Test her on this, Chris, please.
